We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Travel Consultant to help clients plan and organize memorable domestic and international trips. The candidate will be responsible for understanding customer requirements, recommending suitable travel options, preparing itineraries, and assisting with bookings.
The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, knowledge of travel destinations, and the ability to provide personalized travel solutions based on customer requirements and budgets.
Responsibilities
- Understand clients’ travel requirements, preferences, and budgets.
- Recommend suitable destinations, travel packages, hotels, flights, and activities.
- Prepare customized travel itineraries and holiday packages.
- Assist customers with flight, hotel, transportation, and tour bookings.
- Coordinate with hotels, airlines, tour operators, and other travel partners.
- Provide accurate information about destinations, travel arrangements, and documentation.
- Assist customers with travel-related queries before and during their trips.
- Follow up with prospective customers and convert enquiries into bookings.
- Maintain customer records and update booking information.
- Handle changes, cancellations, and other travel-related requests.
- Stay informed about popular destinations, travel trends, and seasonal offers.
- Ensure customers receive a smooth and professional travel experience.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in travel consultancy, tourism, or a related field.
- Good knowledge of domestic and international travel destinations.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to understand customer requirements and recommend suitable options.
- Good negotiation and sales skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and online booking platforms.
